Book Hangovers are real

Have you ever read a book that was so immersive and engrossing that you lost track of time? Have you ever read the last page of a thriller and thought to yourself, "What am I supposed to do with my life now?"
We've all been there as readers, but being there as a writer is another thing entirely. It's a new experience for me.
No Quarter really took it out of me, I guess. I poured my heart and soul into each and every piece, rewrote the ending at least three times, wondered if I should be writing it at all. Great things are not done without facing down our insecurities, persevering in the face of uncertainty, and braving the landscape of our own strange minds.
It feels good to know that my little novella in verse is already having an impact.
A recent 5-star review on Amazon calls No Quarter, " a journey one won't soon forget" and celebrates its layers of depth.
