The sun is shining here in the American Midwest. I’m trying to write and coming up short. I never push myself- the words will come when they’re ready. They always do. The sun’s heroic return reminds me that everything works in cycles, whether we acknowledge it or not.

My high-concept novel keeps expanding, encompassing more than I ever thought possible. It is inspired by dark events in my own life, my shifting worldview, and my love for police procedurals.
